Who would have guessed, I found an old Song I wrote once, based on the lyrics from Don McLean’s “American Pie”. It’s quite old, even before Marco left Conitec. Intrestingly enough the song talks about “Marco’s Ghost” – a lil’ bit creepy. Anyway, read the entire lyrics after the jump.

A not so long time ago,
I do still remember
how that name used to make me smile,
and I remember of that thread
that made me laught and cry
and maybe also wonder why

But that guy made noobs cry and shiver,
With every post he did deliver.
Bad news on the old thread,
TUSC is not released yet!

I cant remember when he decided
to leave the thread on its own pride
but something touched me deep inside
the day – the thread was locked!

Now for four years we’ve been on our own,
No TUSC thread more in our mighty forum,
But that’s not how it used to be.
When the Spammer sang for the pride of him,
With a song he borrowed from Don McLean,
And a Voice that sounded like Vaseline.

Oh and while the Mods were out of home,
The spammer stole the Morbius forum,
The admins were informed;
No forum-ban was given to that moron,
And while Ello read a book on Shader Marks,
HeelX hacked C-Script with lark,
And we sang TUSC Songs in the dark,
the day – the thread was locked.

Rhuarc Nadester in Hilberts Hotel threadster,
The spambots flew off with a anonymous shell there,
Eight posts a day and rising fast.
It’s taken with fun,
The members tried, but could not stop them,
With Infinity on the Beyond Games in a cast.

Now the half section was God-Existance Threads,
while the Mods tried to lock down on them,
We all got up to spam,
Oh, but we never got the chance!
’cause JCL tried to take the field,
The Uli-fan Band refused to yield,
Do you recall what was revealed

My hands were clenching Multiplayer bugs,
No JCL born in hell.
Could break that Spammer’s Spell.
And as the conversations climed high into the night,
to light the traditional rite,
I saw Marco laughing with delight,
the day – the thread was locked.

I met a guy who sang no blues,
And I asked him for what he about TUSC knews,
But he just scratched his head and turned away,
I went down to the search forum function,
Where I found the threads years before,
But the page said "no results found".

And in the streets: The nerds screamed,
The noobs cried, and the oldies dreamed.
But not a post was spoken;
The thread entries were revoken.
And the three man I admire most:
JCL, Doug and Marcos Ghost,
They caught the last train for the coast
